"Topophobia"

This poem was inspired by Chinese-American geographer Yi-fu Tuan and his book "Topophilia: A Study of Environmental Perception, Attitudes and Values" to which he argues for the importance between human connection and layers of different environments. "
"Topophobia" by Amanda Andrews takes to place themselves and others who find themselves out of place and disjointed. It's in this place of isolation among others that perhaps we too can still find connection. We are strangers and yet, we are experiencing this together.
